NEW EYEWEAR BRAND

This was the main project of my web design course, where the primary objective was to establish a brand specializing in sunglasses from the ground up. It included the whole brand communication, from in-depth market research to the development of a logo, catalog, and a fully functional website.

This is a personal project, none of the stuff explained here has ever been online or commercialized.

Market research

My journey began with fast market research, aimed at gaining insights into the strategies employed by competitors. This research served as a foundation for understanding the strengths and weaknesses of existing brands in the sunglasses market. With these insights in mind, I set my sights on targeting a younger demographic, aligning my brand with their preferences and aspirations.

Branding

I embarked on the creative process of choosing a name for the brand. The inspiration for the brand’s name emerged from the unique shape of the letter “H,” which reminded me of the resemblance to the design of some sunglasses. This concept served as the starting point for the logo’s development, infusing it with a visual identity that was both distinctive and resonated with the essence of the brand.

Catalog

With the brand’s identity established, I found different types of sunglasses and collections showcasing the diverse offerings. These products were presented in our catalog, with various types of collections and models.

Website

Finally, I created the digital landscape of the brand by creating an e-commerce website. This platform allowed customers to browse, select, and purchase sunglasses online, providing a convenient and seamless shopping experience.
